From setting up and repairing your instrument, to teaching you how to play, taking your playing to new levels, building custom backing tracks for your practice or recording and producing your playing and compositions I can guide you on your journey to become the best guitarist and musician that you want to become.

Guitar lessons

Dark Cherry is a small local studio in Epsom, Surrey, born out of the covid pandemic and subsequent lockdowns. Covid gave me time to pause, to think and re-evaluate my life choices and I took the opportunity to use this time to totally reorientate my life from running a very busy soft furnishing business, to working from a purpose built studio at my home, doing what I love, which is everything guitar related.

Guitar repairs and setups

Having graduated from the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California in the early 90’s I was privileged to have been taught by some of the true guitar greats like Paul Gilbert and Scott Henderson and being LA based I got to observe legends like Eddie Van Halen, Steve Lukather and Frank Gambale on a regular basis.
